Molded into Godly Character God uses his Word, people, and circumstances to mold us. All three are indispensable for character development. God's Word provides the truth we need to grow, God's people provide the support we need to grow, and circumstances provide the environment to practice Christlikeness.
If you study and apply God's Word, connect regularly with other believers, and learn to trust God in difficult circumstances, I guarantee you will become more like Jesus.
Many people assume all that is needed for spiritual growth is Bible study and prayer. But some issues in life will never be changed by Bible study or prayer alone. God uses people. He usually prefers to work through people rather than perform miracles, so that we will depend on each other for fellowship. He wants us to grow together.
In many religions, the people considered to be the most spiritually mature and holy are those who isolate themselves from others in mountaintop monasteries, uninfected by contact with other people.
But this is a gross misunderstanding. Spiritual maturity is not a solitary, individual pursuit!
You cannot grow to Christlikeness in isolation. You must be around other people and interact with them. You need to be a part of a church and community.
Why? Because true spiritual maturity is all about learning to love like Jesus, and you can't practice being like Jesus without being in relationship with other people.
Remember, it's all about love - loving God and loving others.

Thinking points:
- how have i been molding myself to godly characters?
- how much do i allow people to speak into my lives?
- what are the godly characters that i have improve since last time till now?
- what other godly characters do i still need to improve on?

oh man! xD
The new headphone is disappointing. It falls off my head easily and it has an awkward gap at the side between my head and the headphone. I should have tested it first before buying it. =(((
so much for the excitement.......

yay yay!
i finally got a new headphones for myself le. =D hohoho. xD
anyway, purpose driven connection- daily hope is going to release a 6 days series of how to connect with people. within these 6 days, they are going to share 6 principles of how to connect with people. hopefully i can gain some deep insights and apply this into my life.
This is because i find that connecting with people on a heart-to-heart, soul-to-soul level is one most important skills that each can master.
Extract from purpose driven connection:
A study by the California Department of Health Mental found that if you're disconnected from other people -
You're two-to-three times more likely to die an early death;
You're four times more likely to suffer from emotional burnout;
You're five times more likely to suffer clinical depression, and;
You're ten times more likely to be hospitalized for an emotional or mental disorder.HAHA. xD but that's not the reason why i want learn the principles of how to connect with people. the reason is because by connecting with people on a heart-to-heart and soul-to-soul level, i will be able to impact the lives of people around me. i would be able to help god build his kingdom up. =) hehe. so yup! i'm excited to learn what are the 6 principles of how to connect with people. hopefully i will be able to apply it in my lives as well. if not, learn also no use. haha. xD

A promised that was once forgotten...
Was reminded to me a 2 days ago...
In our daily lives, we are faced with many different types of obstacles- obstacles in our studies, spiritual life, school, work and even in our relationship with our love ones.
I once made a promise that we will overcome all obstacles we faced. but i have been running away recently; running away from problems, running away from my weakness, fearing to admit that i'm weak. i was even hoping that it will disappear by itself one day but it didn't.
today, i'm gonna renew this promise i've made. i will learned to face up the obstacles in my lives. i'll learned to recognise that i'm weak before god can make me strong. i'll try my very best not to run away when problem arises and turn to god for support everytime when the burden seems too heavy to carry. I know he is there and you are also there for me.
Thank you for the reminder.

UP NEXT: DANCE OR DRAMA CLASSES!!!
I want learn dance or drama classes. And i hope through these classes, i will be able to build myself up. i'm a shy person to begin with. i fear criticism and rejection. i'm afraid of how ppl look at me. if you are someone i don't know, i don't bother much. but if you are someone i know, i mind it alot. Thus, through these classes, i hope i'm able to grow out of all these weakness.
BUT!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO LEARN IS BEST. =X

Sometimes, things are so expected that you don't know what to say.
Sometimes, things are so expected but we still choose to hold on to the hope that the expected will not happen.
Sometimes, things are so expected that even though we expected such things to happen, it still affects our emotions greatly.
..............
So what should I do in times like this? Pray lor.
